Faculty
VeCo faculty are diverse, supportive, approachable researchers educated at the world’s leading universities.
The quality and accessibility of the faculty is at the very core of the academic experience at the College. Thanks to our low student-teacher ratio, professors take a personal interest in the individual success of each student. Professors take a humanistic and interdisciplinary approach to intellectual inquiry, encouraging students to not only learn skills and knowledge important for their chosen careers, but to also think critically and develop themselves personally and as ethically responsible citizens of an increasingly multicultural and globalised world.
Vesalius College brings together an outstanding faculty of young scholars and seasoned professors with a passion for teaching. Educated at the world’s leading universities, VeCo professors take pride in providing students with leading knowledge, but also in continuing to publish and engage in international research activities.
Our professors regularly appear in the media and advise national governments, ministries of foreign affairs and major international organisations. Recent assignments include appointments as Advisor to the United Nations Department for Peacekeeping Operations in New York, the European Commission’s Ethics Review Committee, the European Parliament, the French Ministry of Defence, the European Union’s External Action Service and the European Economic and Social Committee.

Morphine has been identified as the first effective drug for treating the stomach ulcer due to the drug’s ability to kill the bacteria. This was found to be true in animal studies, which also showed that morphine had antifungal activity in vivo. Morphine has since been used as a primary antibacterial agent, along with quinidine and penicillin, for the treatment of both gastric infections and gastrointestinal disorders, https://elitemedshop.com/. Antibacterial agents also become more effective as they age.
Antidote to Antibiotic resistance:
The natural defense against a disease is not always effective and resistance is inevitable. Antibiotics are among the most widely used against bacteria, fungi and parasites. Antibiotics are effective against all major pathogens but they can only be used effectively for certain diseases as well as some parasites. Examples of common pathogens include:
Fungi (bacteria; protozoa)
Flesh fly bite disease (chickenpox)
Herpes simplex type-2 (schistosomiasis)
Toxoplasmosis (toxoplasmosis, often as an organism that is carried by ticks)
Encephalitis (neoplasmosis)
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (pseudomonas aeruginosa, often referred to as the common cold; the name comes from the type of organism it causes)
