International and European Law student Stephan Bergmann Johansen has been selected to participate in ‘The Study of the U.S. Institute for European Student Leaders on Social Entrepreneurship’ which will take place in Tennessee and Washington DC this summer. Stephan, together with another Norwegian student, will represent Fulbright’s Norwegian branch at the institute.
The programme will examine social entrepreneurship in the United States and its challenges and issues. The participants will learn how to employ business techniques and entrepreneurial skills that promote social entrepreneurship through the study of business ethics, negotiations, emerging markets and risk analysis, microfinance, and corporate social responsibility. Stephane will have an opportunity to share this experience with students from many other countries such as Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
