VeCo Professor Dr. Van Kerckhoven publishes a reflection on the EU-G7 relation in the age of anti-globalization

Prof. Dr. Sven Van Kerckhoven has co-authored (with Prof. Dr. Jan Wouters, KULeuven) a short reflection on the relation between the EU and the G7 in the age of Trump and Brexit.

The reflection is part of a book that has been published in preparation of the G7 Summit in Taormina, Italy, last week. The book contains short contributions by global decision-makers, among which Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Director General William Swing from the International Organization for Migration, Executive Director David Beasley from the United Nations World Food Programme, Secretary General Angel Gúrria from the OECD, Executive Director Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka from UN Women, Director General Irina Bokova from UNESCO, and many more prominent decision-makers. The book also includes the opinions with regards to the G7 of  German Chancellor Angela Merkel, US President Donald Trump, British Prime Minister Theresa May and other Leaders.
