The sixth edition of the Executive Training in Global Risk Analysis and Crisis Management started on Friday, 5 and Saturday, 6 October with the first module on ‘Understanding Risk, Grasping Uncertainty’.
The Executive Training will provide participants with unique insights and fundamental skills required for mastering the field of global risk analysis, early warning and the management of major man-made and natural disasters.
The course and curriculum were designed by senior leaders and practitioners from the European Union (EU), with input from NATO and United Nations (UN) officials, as well as international security and risk analysis experts. Participants will follow a unique mixture of intensive ‘hands-on’ training courses and comprehensive analytical and institutional lectures taught by a renowned faculty of senior officials from major international organisations, NGOs and leading security scholars.
Through the Course, participants will develop essential practical skills and will acquire in-depth knowledge for a successful career in the international security and crisis response fields.
The Course consists of 10 intensive weekend modules held once a month from October 2018 until June 2019. Upon successful completion of the modules, participants will be awarded the Advanced Certificate in Global Risk Analysis & Crisis Management.
