When I was trying to decide on studying abroad I looked for a program that offered more than just courses, and with Vesalius College, that was what I got! The internship opportunities, courses with traveling, and host family options were all benefits that I could not have passed up! My internship was more than I could have ever asked for and through it I was able to participate in meetings in a number of European Union offices and educate myself on a number of important EU matters.

Also while in Brussels I lived with an amazing host family. There were so many fun evenings spent with my roommate and the children just playing the silliest of games, I really feel like part of their family now. Along with the programs offered through Vesalius there is an art class which involves a number of trips to places you study about in class. These trips were great experiences, where we were able to see sights that we probably would never have thought of on our own.
Brussels is a great city to study in, with the EU institutions all over town you never know who you will meet and where they will be fun, making even the everyday metro ride exciting just because of the languages you will hear!
The location of Brussels is also ideal for study abroad students, it is very easy to find a train for a number of places you might want to see, and with the ability to make your schedule upon arrival, and you can ensure that you have plenty of available travel time.
Please take my advice and that of all the other students that have gone through the Vesalius College study abroad program, DO IT, you will definitely do and see amazing things!
