Ariel Rogers, US Study Abroad Student at Vesalius College

VeCo is affiliated with my university back in the States and I can tell you that I am really happy to have come to this school! VeCo is warm, welcoming and academically stimulating. I love my classes and the people have all been friendly since day one.  The courses are difficult but at the same time manageable thanks to a really a good support network, study sessions with friends and easily accessible professors.  I love the smaller classes because it means that you actually become a person in the eyes of your professors rather than just another number, another seat or another test.

Brussels is also the perfect location for me-it's centrally located and I can travel not only around the city but also all over Europe.  This freedom is invigorating and I feel so comfortable in Brussels.

I love all my classes---Intermediate French, History of the International System, Policies of the European Union and International Law.  My classes are also filled with an incredible mix of people.  Everyone has an interesting story---be it a girl from Macedonia, a boy from Haiti or a "mec" from France.  VeCo is so international and that's what makes it a great environment for higher learning.  As my time here comes to a close, I know that I am extremely lucky to have landed in this program and in this school; and I know these memories will stick with me long after I go back to the US.
