EU Commission Speaker to lecture for Vesalius Students

The Vesalius Student Government (VSG) invited a guest speaker from the European Commission to come and speak at the college in order to give students a personalized insight to the EU. All Vesalians are welcome to attend and ask questions on working at the EU.

The title of the guest lecture is "The European Commission: a case-study in organisational change".

The Commission underwent a major restructuring in the period 1999-2004. The lecture will focus on the main changes and why they were made, helping students try to understand the process. Aspects to be covered include organisation theory, line management and human resource management, as well as approaches to managing change in large organisations.

The speaker will come to the College on March 12th from 6 PM in D2.06.
