Dean Koops interviewed by BBC World Service on UN Peacekeeping

Professor Joachim Koops, Dean of Vesalius College, was interviewed today by the BBC World Service on the issue of the effectiveness United Nations Peacekeeping. Appearing on the “Newsday” Morning Programme, Dean Koops was asked about his opinion on a recent internal report on UN Peacekeeping that called for a more robust and better equipped approach by the Blue Helmets at a time when the number of fatalities and threats to UN Peacekeepers are on the rise.
