Studying at Non-Partner Institutions - Outbound Vesalius Students

If a student wishes to study abroad at a university with which Vesalius College has no exchange or Study Abroad agreement, (s)he should apply directly to that institution, paying its tuition and other fees.  During this semester abroad, the student has no financial obligation to Vesalius College.  In such cases, the student must consult with his/her academic advisor to finalize his/her study plans.  Above all, the student must secure prior approval from the Registrar if (s)he wishes to receive transfer credit for the courses taken while abroad.  Upon return to the College, the student will receive transfer credit for approved courses in which (s)he earned a grade of C or above.  However, the grades earned at non-partner institutions will not be included in the student’s cumulative GPA.
