A 10-day summer school exploring the relationship between media and security governance in the context of conflicts.
Journalists and Security actors are constantly interacting during times of conflict. This course is designed to provide a multidisciplinary understanding of these interactions and the implications they have in the field.
This summer, examine the asymmetric nature of conflict analysis and the roles of statutory and non-statutory actors involved in conflict: from journalist functions in the field, newsrooms, and how news becomes news to the scale of influence in a securitized environment.
