The Foundation Programme
The Foundation Programme at Vesalius College is an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) preparation programme covering various aspects of university study and English language skills. It is open to applicants of Vesalius College who are conditionally accepted to the degree-seeking program and any students wishing to prepare themselves for undergraduate study in English at other institutions.
The Foundation Programme is one semester in duration (15 weeks of up to 19 class hours per week) and is taught by specialists. The programme covers English, Math and Foreign Language as well as other elements necessary for undergraduate success. The English portion of the Foundation Programme allows students to improve their core skills through classes in a range of language-based subjects including writing, study skills, presentation skills, and in general grammar, writing and reading classes.
Interested candidates should note that entrance requirements for the English section of the Foundation Programme are based on TOEFL, SAT or IELTS scores. For more information regarding the courses offered and their individual entrance requirements, contact the Admissions Department.
