Employment at Vesalius College

Vesalius College Brussels, the American-style liberal arts college in the capital of Europe in association with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, is expanding in the fields of European Union Policy and international business studies, and is currently seeking several new faculty members.
All positions are initially for one year, but may become of indeterminate duration after a positive evaluation. All positions are at the level of assistant professor; promotion to associate professor may be possible after a minimum of three years.
All candidates must have a PhD in hand, a proven record in teaching, and a strong research profile.  Successful candidates must be good networkers and have great ambitions in setting up lecture series, internships for students at the graduate and undergraduate level, and agreements with external partners such as study centres, think tanks and other teaching and research institutions in Brussels and abroad.  Given the smallness of the institution and the very low student-teacher-ratio,  all candidates must have a strong interest in the academic progress of their students.  All candidates must have a valid work permit for the European Union.
